PM Modi reached Warsaw, the capital of Poland, on Wednesday on a 2-day visit. He will meet Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk today.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Poland on Wednesday on a two-day visit. He was given a warm welcome here. After this, he reached the memorial of Jam Saheb Digvijay Singhji Ranjit Singhji Jadeja of Navanagar and paid tribute.

Everyone in Poland knows our Jam Saheb as Good Maharaja. During World War 2, when Poland was surrounded by difficulties, Jam Saheb Digvijay Singh ji helped the Polish people.

Before the address, PM Modi paid tribute to Jam Saheb at Navanagar in Warsaw. After this, he also paid tribute at the Monte Cassino Memorial and the memorial of the Kolhapur family. The Monte Cassino Memorial was built to commemorate the victory of the soldiers of the Second Polish Corps in the Battle of Monte Cassino in 1944 during the Second World War.
The II Corps conquered the hill and the monastery located on it against the Nazi German forces. More than 900 Polish soldiers were killed in this battle.
