A new revelation has come to light in the terrorist attack that took place on April 22 last year in Pahalgam, Kashmir. According to the charge sheet of NIA, the Go-Pro camera which was used by the terrorists. It was made in America and reached the terrorists through China.

NIA had filed the charge sheet on 15 December 2025. Its details have now come to light. The investigating agency believes that the network of terrorists’ helpers will be revealed through this Go-Pro camera.

This high-tech camera was recovered from the terrorists killed in an encounter in the forests of Dachigam in July last year.

According to the investigating agency, terrorist organizations are increasingly using body cameras and action devices to record attacks. Later that footage is used to spread propaganda and fear.

On April 22, 2025, 26 tourists were killed in a terrorist attack in Baisaran Valley, 6 km from Pahalgam. 16 people were injured. People were targeted on the basis of their religious identity.

NIA asked American company Go-Pro, replied – it was sent to China

To trace this device, NIA contacted US-based manufacturer GoPro Inc. Contacted. In its response, the company confirmed that the particular camera unit was sent to a commercial distributor in China.

NIA is investigating how this device reached the hands of terrorists from a Chinese distributor. Investigating officers suspect that this purchase was done through intelligence channels. In which middlemen or people associated with the government may be involved.

What else has been revealed in the NIA charge sheet…

Tourist guides Parvez and Bashir were arrested by the police last year itself.

• The mastermind of the attack was Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist Saifullah alias Saifullah Sajid Jatt alias Langra. Sajid lives in Kasur, Lahore, Pakistan. Sajid Jatt was the main handler of the terrorists.
• He was giving them real time direction. It was he who had sent the location of the attack site Baisaran Valley. Even during the attack, he was continuously talking to the terrorists.
• According to the NIA charge sheet, the attack could have been avoided if tourist guides Parvez Ahmed Jothar and Bashir Ahmed Jothar had given information in time. Both the guides had seen the terrorists in Baisaran but did not tell the security agencies. Both the guides have been arrested.
• A day before the attack, the three terrorists ate food in the hut of guide Parvez, asking for help in the name of God. While leaving, he also took bread and vegetables with him. The three terrorists had dinner under a tree in Baisaran Valley before firing. After the incident, all three resorted to firing while raising religious slogans.
• According to the charge sheet, this attack was a targeted murder on the basis of religion, in which 25 tourists and one local died. Three Pakistani terrorists killed in Operation Mahadev on July 28 have also been made accused.

3 culprits of Pahalgam attack have been killed

According to NIA, Pakistani terrorists Faisal Jatt alias Suleman, Habib Tahir alias Jibran Bhai and Hamza Afghani, who were involved in the Pahalgam terror attack, were killed by the security forces on July 28, 2025. There is a reward of Rs 10 lakh on India’s top wanted terrorist Langra. Go-Pro camera was found from him.

India’s Operation Sindoor as revenge for Pahalgam attack

India carried out air strikes in Pakistan and PoK at 1:05 am on the night of 6-7 May, retaliating for the Pahalgam attack. It was named Operation Sindoor. India had fired 24 missiles.

In this, 9 terrorist hideouts were targeted, in which more than 100 terrorists were killed. 10 family members and 4 associates of terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed Chief Maulana Masood Azhar were killed in the attack.
